Thanks guys! lots to try!!! i have just failed again by following a work colleagues suggestion ( "a sure thing!", she said... HA! ) to put half a pill in a chunk of cheese. He loves cheese but seemed to know that this was no ordinary cheese and proceeded to lick it until he confirmed his suspicions. Now run out of tablets! I will get a couple more and try the grinding up in the small amount of food, although have tryed this before. Then ill do the wrapping in the towel technic......if this does not work I will give in and take him to see the vet nurse :s im sure she'll have it down in a couple of seconds lol! will let you know how I get on....thanks again for all the help, love this site x

p.s JanieB +jckKerrison , I know the spot on you mean...Advocat?? but have got a supply of both frontline and advantage so dont want to fork out anymore for spot ons at the moment but after all this I may well swap back to it when ive run out lol!

One more quick question!! do you guys regularly worm your cats even if they are indoors? Dexter is an indoor cat but has access to a secure back yard! thanks again for all your help x
