    Two newcomers

    Hi there!
I’m writing this in order to ask a few things about two new kittens I’m about to have in two months. Sadly, my cat passed away last week. Don’t ask for details…. :(
Well, as I told you, I’m about to have two kittens that were born two weeks ago. The current birth –the one I’m getting the kittens from- has only black tabbies. There are two males that I was thinking of getting, but now I’m considering that maybe was better to have one male and one female. What do you think? You see, my last cat was male and I liked the activity and energy he had. We were playing all the time and he was really joyful. All in all, i was wondering if a girl maine coon is less active. Might sounds stupid to ask this, but I never had a female cat before and i dont know. So, having in mind that the two kittens I’m adopting are brothers, I meant to ask:
Is a pair of boys better than a boy and a girl or the other way around? Or it’s the same?
Are they going to get along good?
Is any of them going to be dominating?
Which pair (boy/boy or boy/girl) is most likely to produce fights?
My last coon was attached to the family, but he was just him. Is there any possibility that the two newcomers will ignore us, just because they will have each other?

These are my questions for now. I will appreciate any answer.

    Thanking you in advance! ***
