Thread: Rather annoyed!

I dont think annoyed is "fair" after all its hardly his fault (the cats) and it obviously makes the op harder.

Still you do have my sympathies

Is this something you can claim on insurance? Worth a try if its going to ruin your Christmas no the wee ones fault though. I mind I got a cat when I was a teenager nd she went in to get dressed and noticed she had a hernia. Least its been noticed and was nothing serious.

Finding a retained testicle can take a couple of minutes or it can take ages hence the price difference,straight forward cat castrations are over very very quickly if the other one is just in the groin brilliant but if it has to be tracked right up into the abdomen it can take an age plus they are normally very minute too,poor boy will be pretty sore too,could also be worth looking into claiming as suggested by BasilHayden,routine ops aren't covered but that can't really be classed as that.....

im not blaming my cat. Just annoyed that even after visiting the vet twice with the breeder, and once with me, that this wasnt picked up sooner. He was already booked in to have his op next month, and looked under the weather at the weekend, thats when i took him to be checked and found this out.
i have contacted the insurance company and thankfully paying out less my excess.

on another note: does anyone feed their mc's or moggies whiskas tinned cat food and noticed it going off within hours?

It may not have been obvious Im no vet but thought that they take a while to drop so maybe this would not be possibler to spot much earlier.
