    Thanks for that jckkerrison...spot on advice. The comb works, pulling much more undercoat out than the brush and getting into the mat/knot. Greasy is the best word to describe the problem areas! Yes, between her front legs and even behind her ears! The areas on her hips both sides is a bad area, but manageable. We cut 2 or 3 small areas, you wouldn't even notice. We also gave her her first bath to try to help! I'll throw a few pics up later of that!! And quite a bit of talc powder, which makes her fur soft & dry again. It's more the humidity we have now, rather than the 25-30 degree heat that seems to make matting worse.
