Valdez, Love my tablet too! I have a habit of copying anything I write before I send it hahaha. The Maine coon is a large friendly majestic cat, it is still a cat. They play big and eat bigger, I like to think Ginger is smarter and more beautiful than the average alley cat, but she is a cat. So that being said, don't over think this too much. I recommend a good healthy diet, no gluten if possible. A combination of dry and wet, satisfies their water requirements. I use a slicker brush on Ginger and the hardest part is we start very seriously brushing and end up playing!our favorite game "take the brush from mom and bite it!" Like Jackie says lots of toys to stimulate them mentally and lots of love. Pretty much all you need and a few cat boxes. I am not sure about the feline FIV, Jackie probably can tell you more about that. I know I would not ever risk my Gingers health. Welcome to MCF and we all will want to see pictures!
