Any cat proof netting has to be slanting inwards at a 45 degree angle so the cat cannot jump over.

Lovely try though. We must always think outside of the box to win the kitty battle ;-)

We have bitten the bullet and ordered the Felisafe netting. Now we just need to invite all our friends round for a "party" to put it all up!

We unpacked it all, and realised that its going to be quite a job -first we need to do serious amount of garden trimming!

Scarily, a chap came to the door today and there was a minor panic indoors cos we couldn't find the cat.... Suddenly my husband went white - he'd left a window open in the conservatory.... I shouted through the door to the chap that we were looking for the cat... He asked if it was a grey cat, cos there was one sat on the doorstep next to him!

So, whatever the family THINK they are doing over the Bank Holiday, we are putting up the Felisafe!!!

I know this is a bit late, but it's up and working. As Sid grew and got better at climbing, we had a couple of escapes till we realised he was going up a tree and out along an overhanging branch that did NOT look strong enough to take his weight. A quick call to Felisafe, whilst Sid was on hose-arrest and we've now got tree guards up and all is now secure again. The sense of relief that they are safe is great, but I do try to get them back in before dark as otherwise their undercarriages are covered in slugs that only come out at dusk and that is too revolting for words.
