I think so, or maybe its I hope so, for Ambers sake, but I am not going to stress her out chasing her up and catching her, she likes peace and she likes to be high up, and she knows if we get a chair to reach her what we are doing and she just moves out of reach!! but I am keeping an eye on her and she is either eating more than her fair share of the biscuits, or she has swallowed a large football, or she is pregnant. lol, either way, no matter what tomorrow, or Thursday she will be caught because if she is, she will not be far off due...
So better to be safe than sorry... she is a black Tortie smoke and white so to our blue silver tabby boy.... should be some very interesting kitties..

Candes, our Remy is a McKittycreek cat. His paternal grandfather is a very well known MC, McKittycreek T. Ruxpin of Shubacoons. You can see his photo here:
~Shubacoons Maine Coons~
Here is his Pawpeds pedigree:
McKittycreek T. Ruxpin of Shubacoons
So Remy and Teddy share McKittycreek Eddie Bauer (4 generations back in Remy and 6 back in Teddy).
Remy's pedigree was on the web by way of his sister being at Stormytown Maine Coons, but they don't have Kimmie's pedigree linked in anymore. I saved it, but will have to see how to make a version available.Last edited by mcguy; 4th January 2011 at 11:51 PM.

How cute! Teddy has not only bib but also white mittens. White gloves make cats(and humans) look more dressy and elegant.
I am glad you all searched Pawpeds. I followed your example and found interesting links on my cats Maternal Grandfather:

It is not easy to find relatives, that is why when I was so excited when I found some, especially on the other side of the pond.
Speaking about family reunions...My sister and her friend adopted girl and boy maincoons from the same litter, and then after they turned 1 year old decided to have their first B-day together. The owners were anticipating this event months ahead, and finally the big day came.
Sister- cat met her Big Brother with loud hissing, and when he dared to play with her toy, they started real fight, and the owner of Big Brother had to put growling cat in the carrier and go home. That's how their birthday and family reunion ended.
This story made me realize how territorial our cats are.

MCs differ in personality, and boys and girls differ on this. Never heard either of our boys hiss or growl at each other or the girls, but the girls hiss at the boys on occasion. When we got Bella, the breeder warned us that she had a "dominant personality." We were still not prepared for 4 month old Bella to growl loudly at our big MC mix male Karma. I still remember the surprised look on his face (and I am sure on ours). She still tries to assert her dominance over the other cats.

Candes, how mean of you to take Teddy's pic when he's having a bad fur day... and posting it.
Anyways, when I have the time I'll look him up in Pawpeds and see if I can find the Most Recent Common Ancestor to one of my three. Should be interesting.
