Found the same thing with the hairdryer, too, but now it's water off a ducks back to them both. Freyja's adjusted so well to the noise that she sits on the floor and just bats the cable; I'm pretty sure she's got a sixth sense and can tell when I'm drying in a rush - that's when she decides to sit on the cable so that I can't lift the ruddy dryer above my head!
I miss the days when she ran for the hills at the sound of the dryer... I had fewer bad hair days then!
