In the past I have had the cheaper cat trees & it was never that long before bits started coming off of them or the scratching posts started looking tired & worn, had one where the elastic furry ball attatched to it was stretched to its full potential & when the cat let go it flew back & wrapped itself round the neck of one of the others sitting on the tree, panic as the cat jumped down & the elastic didn't immedietly break, one big cat back legs on floor tugging to get away & pulling everything tighter round his neck,I had to lift while hubby cut him out.I never leave any toys attatched to elastic around just in case & that particular one didn't look as if it could stretch that far anyway,wrong....
We now have the Tigga Tower, very well used, loved by all furries, still looks like new, well worth the money paid for it,just had to live a week or two on baked beans but for my furries comfort & delight its worth it,Shimba says he doesn't know what he would do without the hammock, his most favourite sleeping place especialy in the winter with his back against the radiator.....!
