Aww look at those 2 lovely lads trying to help!!
Wonder how many of the little straws ended up on the floor? You might be finding them under the furniture for weeks to come!
But would we have it any other way?

I think Shimba's tombola will be sold out in a very short time, who could possibly resist...

Poor Shimba,I took this photo before the sale got under way then he went & laid on his grooming table like a good boy & put up with cuddles & kisses for nearly four hours & I didn't take any more ,not that it would have been easy to have got my cat back to have done it anyway,he was loved by young & old alike, one lady came up with her friend & said he looked fierce would he bite so I just answered "of course he will"luckily her friend caught on & said well I don't care I want a cuddle & walked up to him & got headbutts & purrs,it was great to see the other ladies face, she did then brave him.He done very well helping knock the straws that people had picked out onto the floor which kept the customers fit bending down to pick them up & he didn't bring many left over prizes home so I think we have to say his first fund raising event was a success....
Have been out this evening with the lady who runs our branch of Cats Protection & she reckons next year we should have a donation box next to him & people have to put something in before they are allowed to cuddle,if today was anything to go by it should do well.

Shimba having his own little "snogging booth" may have to pay a visit. Now if Welly runs one I'm booking him for an hour. Well done on the fund raiser. I might have to call on your services for the Norwich event soon xx
