Helen & John - How about wrapping your tree in tin foil for decorations? LOL! That might keep Freddie off the tree.

Thanks candes for your list. Of course, Maya will be the biggest pressie for Tequila and Forest. They'll get her as an early Christmas present.

I went all over town and into the USA looking for a cat tunnel that has a larger diameter of 20cm (8 in). All the tunnels I found had a max of 20 cm for the diameter. I really don't think they thought of MC's when manufacturing them. I think Tequila would get stuck. Anyone have recommendations for tunnels?

I read that real fur trees are dangerous for cats, since the needles can puncture their intestines if swallowed. Pine trees have softer needles but more toxic
if chewed and swallowed. After reading that I changed my mind about real tree and settled for a small 3 feet green tree with fiberoptic ends. Cats don't chew on it,
and do not touch few decorations , so I feel safe. It does not take much time to plug it in and decorate.

Update on the cat tunnel. I had my doubts about the diameter of the cat tunnels that they would not be big enough for Tequila. Well, was I wrong. I found this cat tunnel at Jysk and Tequila loves it! It was suppose to be his Christmas pressie but my husband said to just give it to him. I am going to get another and I will wrap it for Christmas.
Attachment 4640 He's such a monkey. He loves to jump in and out of the "peep" holes instead of entering through the ends.
