Merry Christmas
Well done Fey,its great seeing someone elses furry having fun amoungst the tinsel but dreading when it is out turn.
My daughter makes me feel a hopless furry mum at xmas both of her cats are so well trained that she has no problems at all, right from a babe Crystal has had one bauble on the bottom branch of the tree which is designated hers & after only a few no's thats not yours this one is,no more problems, she only ever plays with that one, when Ozzy came along all he ever wanted to do was lay underneath it at the back,so two cats & no destruction.
We were fine not any real problems until the latest two babes came along, they were born just before xmas so were the year old before they even saw a tree, the first year we had a small one & put it on a high unit, last year we braved our normal one, nearly gave up & chucked it out, black & white cat climbing up the inside, tabby taking off all the baubles,no meant nothing, then brainwave,I got a load of holly, removed all the berries & built up a wall of holly aound the bottom of the tree,b&w cat couldn't get under to climb & because the wall of holly was brought a bit forward the other one couldn't get near the baubles, yep,it worked,a couple of pricked noses & we had respect for the tree, after xmas we gradually removed the holly & they took no notice,so watch this space, will it be back to square one or will I have six cats as well behaved as daughters.....
Have got an extra bottle of my favourite grog to help the nerves, just in case you understand ! I am looking forward to hearing & seeing the fun everyone has, getting close now.
