Well if you have some time to give her to adjust before bed I'd give it to her, let her have the chance to come out on her own, or coax her out, instead of pulling her out, and set her up in the kitchen for the over night. And I totally forgot to say before congrats on the new addition

I'd sit with her for a while on the floor next to the sofa, talk to her, try to pet her. And then go to bed, leave bedroom door open.

Are you worried she might not find her kitty box? If you are, I would move it near the sofa. I agree with Firedrake and Antonia and would not pull her out if possible. Much better to let her come out on her own. I would probably just sleep on the sofa!!!
