A zoom groon is a rubber brush that fits really well into your hand, it has big rubber teeth that go through the coat really well on smooth haired dogs and if they don't like the noise of a brush is great as it is silent when you use it. The only thing is you have to do it outside and watch which way the wind is blowing as it rally shifts the fur. For a longer haired dog I find a Mikki rake workes well I got my friends golden retriver one and that shifts his fur. He has also got a furminator which works well but they are pricey.

I use World's Best and as I've never used any other's I've nothing to compare it to but it seems to do the job and clumps well - easy to pick up and drop in the toilet. Doesn't do much to disguise the smell though - unless you are super fast at emptying it after he has been
