I did quite a bit of research on this when we obtained our two and in the end opted for LV Pet Insurance's Premier policy. It has a £5K per condition benefit with no time limit providing you stay insured with them. Gracie's policy is £7.50 a month and Monty's is £8.50 a month and the reviews on them were pretty good too.

UK call centre too which is a bonus!

Good luck with whatever you decide

working in a finance office of a vets all i will say is read the small print very carefully - check whether per condition , per year , life cover per condition...unfortunately alot of people get bitten once they try to claim...I would also ask how long it is taking them to pay out at the moment as I know one very large company that is taking 8 weeks to reimburse !!!

More insurers to haggle with! I've had a topsy-turvy day, starting with my partners PhD graduation (which was nice!) and finishing with taking her grandmother to A&E (not nice). So pet insurance has to wait till tomorrow.

Howlinbob, a black smoke?! Whatever gives you that idea?!

    Want any more clues?!

We went to Edinburgh to see Leonais and their beautiful babies! We enquired about her black smoke boy Emile after seeing pics of him on here. SOOOOO cute!!! He's just adorable and we are ridiculously excited now!
Louise his breeder is a fab lady, so friendly and helpful, I cant thank her enough for allowing us to visit and reserve him. She has beautiful cats and a great home setup for them. We are lucky to have met her. Anyway its like waiting for Christmas to come, we have a 4 week wait...
In the meanwhile, pet insurance, some food and litter that he likes and a re-jig of the house to allow him and Jasper their own space... Oh and an professional exam to revise for and sit!

Well & truly out of the bag, will take a closer look at your site tomorrow, had to have one of my "babes" come up to work this evening,I thought he had just pulled a claw right off, painful enough but when boss checked him he had a great big hole all down one side of his toe & running a high temperature, not sure what he has done but now going to try & do the old saline immersion before he goes to bed so will have to postpone leisurely browsing session, most probaly a good thing, give me time to get over that "broody feeling" again....

I insured my 2 with PetPlan. I did some research and asked my vet's chief nurse for advice, and she recommended 2 companies, PetPlan being one of them (can't remember the other).
We are with Petplan too, i hear they pay out really quickly and vets always seem to recommend them.
