I got my Max at 13 weeks after his second vaccination and had him neutered at 6 months. It was an easy operation for him - he went to the vet in the morning, home in the afternoon and behaved as if nothing had happened. I know there are many pros and cons that others have posted in response to similar queries - check back previous postings and you'll find them.
My concern was that I had my little spayed Sophie already and I did not want him to either get rough with her or start spraying in the house - both of which can happen when a boy hits 'cat puberty'.
Some people have gone much longer than 6 months with no such signs, others report behaviour changes before 6 months - it seems to depend upon the individual. My advice would be to take guidance from your vet. Hope all goes well!Visit us at www.longwalkclark.co.uk
