Thread: Fur matting in the heat

Kalli during her first bath! We should really have started bathing her when we got her as a kitten, not started now she's 2!! That said, it wasn't that bad, she jumped into the bath which wet her paws then we wet her with a cloth, and then rubbed in shampoo. A gentle wash with the showerhead then to rinse and dried her with a towel. She spent the evening grooming herself proper then. When she was dry, we put talcum powder on her. She's back to normal again with her beautiful coat. The humidity has gone too, so fingers crossed she'll stay mat free for a while!
