    I agree we have the same instructions on our post op sheet but we tell boy cat owners that the main thing is to keep them in for the first 24hrs because of the risks that come with the anaesthetic,although that doesn't apply to most of us because we keep them under lock & key anyway & even the females as our vets do sub cut suturing we say after 48hrs let them out for a while as well,I think the sheet applies more to dogs so have yet to work out why we can't have a special feline one.
